>>599267>4 season tentAre you sure about that, because thats really expensive and usually 4 season means arctic winter conditions included. Please do specify your area, your tour plans and whats the worst weather you except to find when out.
I'm 6'7", for normal use I prefer a Lightheartgear Solong-6, spacious as fuck and really light. If you don't plan anything extreme, this one is the one you want. Just replace the stakes with something quality and you are good to go. It is my fair weather tent. It can be a bit of a bitch to pitch in rainy conditions tough and I'm not sure how well it would hold up in a strong wind environment like the Scandinavian Fjell.
If I'm on a prolonged solo tour in Scandinavia where I expect brutal winds and no help or shelter within 2 days walk, I switch to a Bergans compact light 2 (the new version is called Bergans Trollhetta 2), thats the Norwegian goto brand, half or a third the price of a Hilleberg, 4 season, really easy to pitch, withstands highest winds and absolutely dry even in the worst rain storms.
It weights 2.5kg (3 times as much as the So-long) It is shorter, sometimes I put my shell jacket over the foot end of my sleeping bag if I'm in condensation prone conditions as my feet touch the inner tent If I sleep on my back (doesn't if I side sleep). Apart from that, it is a great little tent, and since it is a 2 Person you got enough space for dry storage of your gear or drying out your wet clothes.
You can cook under the vestibule of both tents, it is a bit easier in the Bergans because it is a tunnel construction.
You could go for an Exped Sirius 2, that one is even longer and has more usable floor space and fully 4 season, but is 3kg.
Pic related, my Bergans in Scotland (where it was a bit of overkill due to unusually fine weather)
