>>1542051It isn't difficult, if you have the land and a good setup. Though, my ducks are for utility; not pets. A pond is a solid investment, if you have the cash to have one put in. If you raise them from eggs, know that it isn't for the faint of heart. If you get mature ducks then they should be able to raise ducklings on their own, depending on the breed. The biggest thing is keeping the area clear of predators. Meaning nothing larger than sunfish in the pond, a fence to keep turtles, and other predators out. Use a small barn and train them to go inside at night, if possible. If it freezes in your area they should also go inside at night.
