If I just wanted to grow some of my own food and raise some animals where the hell do I go? WV doesn't seem bad if you can find an unpolluted water source. But now this floodplain business? What the hell? How long do you have until your shit washes away? Is it some quick, violent flood or a slow erosion?
If I can't find decent land in WV I'll have to look elsewhere. Wyoming and Maine don't seem bad but I haven't done enough research on them.
