I covered it in epoxy -- a bad move, as now it's pretty fucking ugly. Not the end of the world, though -- got some other MM cobs that I'll take proper care of, plus some minis and a briar. This can be my working pipe, the one which I can clench without worrying about the bit, or the one I treat badly while I'm focused on other things.
