>>2577181>fellow clover chadI’m on a life long quest to develop a natural farming method using a polyculture mix of cover crops and vegetables that are broadcast into the mulch of the previous crop and so far I’ve had excellent results by simply throwing seed before a forecasted rain.
This picture was a completely neglected mowed to shit boomer lawn before I moved in and oats, wheat, peas, and clover have been doing incredibly well with zero interference and no irrigation outside of strategically sowing during rains and moderate weather.
My current game plan is to let this grow as much as it can, use logs from the small forest parcel I have to shape garden rows, and use the mulch from this crop to cover the next seeding which I hope will do as well or better considering the constant improvement of the soil with zero disturbance.
