/out/ I found this pond near my house, its only got like 5 spots accesible to fish, most of em 5 to 10 feet in length. I was drop shotting a bold bluegill 4 1/2" roboworm. No bites, not even sure if there were bass there. Water looked clear but with a brown orange tint to it, lots of sunlen branches and some trees. Water seemed 8 -15 feet deep at the farthest I was casting.
Found a spot with a bunch of bass smaller than my roboworm schooling near shore and some reeds. Lost my weight and wacky rigged the roboworms. Some slightly bigger bass would follow it and peck at it (they were still smaller than the worm) but nothing bigger bit me.
You guys think I can pull an ok bass out of here? What bait? I was thinking of wacky rigging some thin senkos and trying that next time? Any color, bait, and presentation suggestions for these conditions? I'll post some more pics from the pond.
