>>1217885Fishing to eat is different than fishing to fish depending on where you're at. If you're targeting catfish then worms+garlic butter/garlic butter spray work well. Live shad are also good as all around bait. Catfish are good eating, so are Yellow Perch/Crappie/Walleye/Bluegill. For Perch/Crappie/Walleye/Bluegill anything resembling little minnows/grubs/bugs work well.
For just a kickass time fishing....this is my go-to lure. Reel in at decent speed/jerk it once or twice then stop. It'll catch big crappie/bluegill/bass etc.
