I imagine they taste like any other fish or good if prepared right. You have to remember. The Settlers here IMPORTED them on purpose because they were considered a delicacy, and were served in fancy restaurants. You could send a letter to the Federal Government and they would mail you some carp lol.

The Muddy flavor can occur in pretty much any fish. And is from cyanobacteria.
