As far as I can tell the numbers are largely arbitrary, maybe based on an obsolete Russian inch or something. My trouser size is 46-7 which is an 80 cm waist (~31" but they stretch out like mad) and 194 cm total height. You actually do need to measure your height properly because the Gorka waistline is meant to go above your navel to be suspended with braces and the snowlocks inside the cuff need to be fastened above your ankle.
