I got the Shimano Curado 70XG from Bass Pro and paired it with a 6'6 medium fast action tourney rod. The thing worked like a dream. Very smooth casting and reeling. And I could finesse every single bait I tested on it. I was so excited that when I got home I took it fishing and ended up pissing 7 hours away in a Northern IL forest preserve...

Caught some dinky Pike, a flathead that said "fuck it" attacking my spinnerbait and a couple LMB sitting around.

Oh yeah also used 20lb PP backed with some older mono I had.
