There's no one living up there aside from Military.
I even stopped by Resolute Bay, look this all up on a map.
People didn't live there until the government took Inuit from further south and relocated them for claim on arctic sovereignty in the 50s.
. It's too extreme north.
A guy from Resolute Bay told me, he never saw the sun in December until he moved to Iqaluit.
I was only there for a month, but the town of resolute Bay reminded me of the pueblos in South America. Dirty, untaken and the only people that worked were Newfoundlanders. The Inuit get free money, but man it's tough thing to make an opinion on all this.
