>>2274817I bought one of those but returned it a short time later as the amount of shit you need to carry to make it a practical setup is not far off from a good ul 1-2 person tent unless you buy an expensive UL tarp for draping overhead and use no floor. The floor setup is kinda retarded too, if they made the bottom a durable waterproof tarp and put a zipper in the mesh it might be a pretty practical shelter when combined with a tarp overhead but loses points in practicality as it's harder to get good wind protection and obviously you rely on the presence of objects to hang it off of
I don't think hiking poles are tall enough to set it up appropriately nor is this design suited to using them
to me having the bottom wide open defeats the purpose of it and was just generally a pain in the ass design, so I see a need for a tarp underneath, I was lucky to have a tarp in the appropriate dimensions but even then it was difficult to stake both the net and the tarp at the same time so they're taut. or you put your tarp inside but then its a pain to get out etc. if it had a durable bottom it would actually be a fantastic lightweight shelter for environments where rain is not a concern at all but bugs are like near water in the desert
>>2275398high IQ take but you can string up a cord between two objects and hang it off of that as well
