Any suggestions? Last year was my first year really gardening, and I mostly did tomatoes, but with many mistakes (lost a bunch of fruits to blossom rot from calcium deficiency, didn't realize I planted too much to water by hand and installing irrigation with plants already all over is a pain, tried to use posts+string rather than a proper trellis or cage, etc). This year I want to grow way more variety.
I'm not sure the peas/tomatillo/carrot/potato bed really makes sense. I might put the peas at against the back fence where the lemongrass is, move the tomatillos to where the peas are, then put the lemongrass a spacer where the tomatillos used to be.
The thyme, oregano, sage, and rosemary, are all still alive in the ground from last year, so moving those would actually require digging them up.
