>>1636514I almost got a coyote last week. On a bike. There's a steep hill and at the bottom you can either veer left to cross done train tracks or track a pedestrian shortcut through a wooded area. It's paved, but unlit so I usually bomb through with brakes ready. I realized too late that I was inches from a coyote and decided to keep going instead of stopping. I see them a lot in the area so I should have been more cautious.
