>>2441989I ended up getting some Ryobi 18V for the random yard tools and household shit when I don’t want to mess with 2-stroke.
I know the Stihl and Milwaukee and Ego yard tools are nicer, but honestly the 18V blower and trimmer are good enough for the average 1/4 acre or less house. The Stihl is more like landscaper duty. I wouldn’t do a battery mower yet though because 4-stroke is easier to deal with and the mower runs for an hour at a time, not 10min like the blower.
No complaints so far. That 18V mini chainsaw isn’t even a higher end brushless model and that cunt went all the way into some super wet palms and kept ripping, I was amazed. And the hedge trimmer will chop anything that fits in the slots. Tempted to get the pole saw next because I hate running an extension cord with the current electric one I have.
Also have a Ridgid 18V blower and I barely fire up the gas one anymore, but Ridgid is lacking other yard tools.
