Change out your socks for CLEAN and DRY socks as often as you need to, your feet are either wet from stepping in water, or sweating, figure out which and adjust your footwear accordingly. My feet don't sweat, so when I know I'll be sloshing around in swampy muck a bread bad around my socks in my boots works great.
