>>2680176Only based thread on this board, good job OP. I went into a mine last month with my buddy, it was the first new one I'd explored in maybe two years, pic related. The mine was quite short, maybe 100 or 200 feet, but it ran next to a river and was gradually being filled in with sediment every time it flooded, so the ceiling got lower and lower until we were nearly crawling. Took my AK and PVS14, but it was miserable enough with white light so I didn't use night vision much. I'm west of the Cascades and none of the mines around here are as intact or elaborate as the ones you posted; kinda jealous, but it also dramatically reduces my odds of dying horrifically in a mineshaft.
