>>5658It really did, I was kinda confused thinking about why they existed. My guess is people set up camp and then drop their packs and explore a bit. There are some awesome lookouts and high points on those trails, pic related.
Also, holy fuck that one part of the trail where it gets really narrow and the river gets deep, there's one giant bolder in the middle of the river that you've got to get to. Then you walk through the water about chest high. Shit was fucking awesome.
It was amazing though, long story but I did the first day on about 2 hours of sleep. I wasn't even tired while hiking though because I was so giddy. I really hope I get to do that again one day.
