>>966539I replaced the foam grip on my gx2 casting rod with a split grip made out of wood. I put some 2 ton epoxy on the wood and then scraped it off using a folded piece of paper so that there is not a surface layer, only what is able to soak into the wood. So far it works really well for me. I couldn't find a finished pic so here it is with just the grip on.
