How good you have it, Americans. I live in Socialist Europe and we have no property rights. I can't purchase a rural plot and build a cabin on it, because here all rural land is "protected", and you're only allowed to build in designated urban zones. I can't even park an RV or put up a canvas tent in the countryside without a permit, which is 95% sure will get rejected and even if it isn't, it takes several years to get it.
I just want a little piece of desert and be left alone. Is that too much to ask?
