>>1511578(2) 2 liter platypus bags and a Sawyer mini set up for gravity filtering. 4 liters, 2 clean 2 dirty. (Need to get a charcoal inline filter)
(2) 24 oz Camelback insulated water bottles as additional water storage
1 Sawyer 32oz waterbottle with it's own filter like the Lifestraw but without the awkward laying down to drink for water. Scoop and go. The filter can also be removed to use as a backup for the gravity filter. (Also looking for a charcoal filter for this)
32oz widemouth stainless steel thermos, after breakfast I boil some water in the pot and pour it into the thermos with whatever I'm having for lunch, ramen, rice & beans, dry soup mix, coffee or whatever.
For food I usually carry DIY dry soup mixes, ramen, oats, rice & beans, jerkry, instant potatoes, powdered milk, instant coffee (nescafe), Gatorade, eggs, flour tortillas, nutella , peanut butter, and sometimes meat & bacon.
I carry all that in my Redwing 50 along with extra clothes( socks, underwear, shorts, rain poncho, camp/water shoes) knives, axe, saw, machete, hammock & tarp, thin flannel blanket, fire kit, small FAK, small sewing kit, fanny pack with a small survival kit & fishing gear and sometimes a rifle or air rifle.
