The other one likes his and has had no problems whatsoever. He says the 3 legs is a bit of a con on slopes, in sand/mud, etc. but not too bad.
I use something similar to pic related that I got for like $10. I wouldn't recommend it, it's pretty shit but better than nothing I guess. I think back support is key.
We do a lot of canoe trips so the extra weight isn't really a huge issue; I probably wouldn't bring a chair backpacking personally, but it's up to you.
Another friend has the Helinox Chair One that he really likes, but hell is that ever pricey. You can find similar designs for much cheaper.
