>>1247883The cultivator in the image you posted won't work. I have one and it is only for use in a garden bed that has already been tilled and worked or looser soils. It isn't for sod busting. You would need to use a powered tiller for the job you wish to do, however sod can cause problems with a tiller, clogging it up. Since you seem to have sod, the best method would be to use a sod cutting tool and take out the sod in blocks or rolls. There are lots of different manual and powered sod cutting tool, but you can also just use a regular shovel to do it. You only need to cut down about 2-3 inches max usually.
