Meet the widemouth blindcat, also known as the San Antonio Satan fish. It's scientific name is Satan Eurystomus. It is the only member of the Satan genus.
It lives in naturally occurring artesian wells of the Edward's aquifer in Texas. This is the only place in the world it exists. It lacks pigmentation and has no eyesight, being adapted to living underground its entire life, like other known cave fish. They are rarely found in the surface pools of wells, and are classified as a vulnerable species. Specimens have been found to have crustacean shells in their stomach, and it's believed they may be the dominant carnivore of their environment.
