Did a 6 week blacksmithing course in sweden this past winter.
On weekend's I'd bike around, 30 minute ride from town on a dirt and gravel road, 5 minute walk down a small dirt path that I only ever saw 1 other set of foot steps in the snow, 50m through some decently thick undergrowth and pine saplings I built a roof, planned on doing walls but realized I'd finish a few days before the classes ended.
Still, spent a couple nice snowy nights in my hammock under there, making coffee and soup on my mess kit without leaving my sleeping bag.
I miss it ;(
Good news is I'm going to University in Sweden this fall and it's only a 5 minute ride to the edge of civilization, I'll spend the weekends this fall scouting locations and see if I can get a small structure up before first frost.
