>>1256625I might be bias considering that pocket knives are my hobby, but benchmade is one of my favorite companies. Simple because their warranty is amazing. I just sent in two of my mini grips for repair since thier axis locks broke. For the price of 32 dollars I had them replace my blade with a 154cm hg sheepsfoot blade and asked them to replace my bent clip with a deepcarry clip. I have practically a new knife since they replaced the, screws, scales, washers, and clip for free. If you ask benchmade for a deep carry clip they will send you one for free. I have now 4 deep carry mini grip clips just because I called them and asked for some.
But the axis lock is something that I consider a weakness. The omega springs in the lock will break after prolonged wear. They are fun to flick and mess with but arent super durable. But they are free to replace with benchmades warranty. Not to mention the superior steels such as 20cv and 154cm. 20CV is an insane super steel that sharpens up better than any of my other steels like s35vn, s30v, 154cm, vg10, and yes even 440 from a ganzo. They are objectively better knives and if you ever buy one you wont regret it.
