Cops keep an eye out for where they should up patrols, and property owners look now and again to see if they need to up their security, and if so- how they're getting in.
Do you have any idea how many PoE's we've lost to dipshit youtubers filming their entry? How many reliable trails now have game cams watching them because some idiot couldn't keep their mouth shut about it? Even if they don't expose how they got in but still gives the location, the owner then knows that they're getting in SOMEhow, and so checks out their security to see where it's lacking.
So, if you want to get into this hobby, good on you. But get into the WHOLE hobby. Don't just sit there and expect a handout so you can get to the payoff without the work and impress your friends. You're no different than "model builders" that just quietly buy their models off of ebay already painted.
