I preferred my exped to the thermarest neoair xtherm I have now by far, probably gonna sell/give it away and buy another exped.
Mine did die on me after ~4 years including a tour of ghanners, always inflated by mouth so that was to be expected (they mould if you do this). Best nights sleep you'll get outside of an actual bed.
Thermarests are really narrow, I'm a big guy (4u) so I struggle to sleep on them. They are outrageously warm though.
