In all honesty, I don't get the hate towards them. I currently own three (Range rover vogue SE, range rover P38, Discovery 2) and they're magnificent bits of engineering. Used them to retrieve friends pajero's and other "better" off roaders.
I am thinking of selling the Disco and buying a IIA, but they're a bit of a labour of love.. lots of work needed usually because they've been around since the 1960's and parts are finally running out, but other than that they just keep fuckin' trucking
