>>2767909Thanks ! Yeah when going /out/ it's quite hard to find remote places in France due to the population density. The Chartreuse massif isn't very popular so I don't see many people while hiking.

I'm asking because I'm in the market for one too and open for suggestions.It's a Canon EOS 60D with the Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6. It's pretty nice but you need some practice to get good pictures (non blurry, with a good balance of light and shadow etc.). For the best results I shoot in raw and edit light & colors.
