>>1924562>>1924605I bought a pair of Meindl Bhutan GTXs the other week and they're great and very high quality the only bad things I have to say about them is that I have to tie my laces really tight to stop my heel from slipping, I'm having to pull them so tight that I have made the sides of my fingers sore by burning the skin off them on the lace. Although these boots have kept my feet dry 100% the water is not beading off the leather like I want it to after applying wax, instead it just soaks in a bit. Does any1 know how to ensure the leather absorbs the wax properly so water beads off?
I also bought a poncho from Amazon its branded TrailHike or something like that, I used it heavy rain and I remained dry, it can be tied up like a tarp which is nice, I also got a 5 set of dry bags which have proved essential as I'm currently using them to pack my clothes in while abroad
