>>2640757>>2643636>Third to last day of the trip, we discuss what to do for tomorrow since we head back into SF from Crescent City to begin heading home.>R pleads and begs B to go to this mountain range in southern Oregon to herp for snakes, particularly Rubber Boas, B agrees, and so do the rest of us since we just wanting to keep hiking.>Tomorrow arrives and we take a two-hour drive into southern Oregon on this trail to Lake Chetco where there is a few inaturalist sightings of Rubber Boas>Half the trip was driving up progressively less obvious roads, eventually just reaching dirt and rock tracks and then eventually an old beatup sign signifying the parking lot (after almost falling over the side of the mountain and getting hit by a car)>First couple of hours aren't very notable, I play in snow for the first time, we find creek salamanders, find abandoned stuff like mineshafts, cars, even a gun magazine carrying 7.62x39!>We eventually get to a spot of old withered trees with a fucking amazing view of the mountains where we took pictures, threw rocks, looked for reptiles and generally just enjoyed ourselvesThe next part should be the last, I want to make sure I get as much detail about our situation as possible.
