Yeah scandinavia is great for /out. exept they have many rules like no fire etc, But its nothing compared to Western europe
U should check Baltic states ( Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) Very little population, lot of wilderness , mostly forest areas, swamps, rivers, lakes.
Im latvian bushman, and its absolutly great over here, u cant make fire only in summer time because of the forest fires, but in other time u can.
U can camp anywhere in public land, but in private land only if owner allows to, but ussually nobody sees you because there are no people here.
Went on 7 day expedition in wilderness here, didnt meet anyone, plus lot of old soviet military complexes in wilderness, abandoned citys and bunkers.
U can fish but hunting is pretty strict here, but we have alot of hunters u need a license and there are many rules for keeping a gun (we dont have school shootings)

But check finland and sweden(kungsleden trail)
