I ordered Micheal Phillips book on holistic orchard management on the recommendation of a neighbor of mine, if there's any good info I'll try and make it known, not getting the book until Monday though.
Which brings me to my actual question, any of you cats have experience with planting bare root trees? All six trees I have coming are going to be bare root and I was curious to know how best I could prep the ground where I'll be planting in March, or if I should just let it be because I've also heard ammendments in your planting hole could potentially shock bare root trees.
