>>1928096to add on to the previous list some wet wipes, trash bags, any dried canned or nonperishable food you can, a medical kit with at least the basics, a second backup knife, preferably one folding and one full tang fixed blade, a tarp if you have room, steel water bottle, water filtration or purification of some kind, flip flops, 2 good flashlights one big one smaller and batteries/small solar charger, wind/waterproof matches as well as the lighter and maybe flint and steel for good measure, a few rolls of nickels, a pack or two of cigs (DONT SMOKE USE THEM FOR BARTER OR GOOD WILL), a decent compass, a steel cup to boil water in, some ziplock bags, some zipties, a roll of ducktape wrapped around a pencil, a small durable notebook and writing utensil, and as many good books as you think you can carry with you that you wont mind reading over and over. a small prybar or folding boltcutters if you are in an urban area might be decent too. Best of luck anon, this is the stuff i would carry, but its not an exhaustive list, dyor in other places as well and find out what might work for you. if you can, while you still have time try to test out what gear you get. also maybe add some mace or a gun or stungun, have a way to defend yourself from crackheads/animals/spooks
