>>1172525The sage was from the part of the Los Padres that recently burned up in all the fires so it tastes a bit different from kitchen sage. I can only compare it to cigarette tobacco because that’s all I have had access to, and I’d say it’s more mild than it. If it’s dried long enough (which is easy in CA) it can stay lighted and retain some flavor. All I can say is you have to like the taste of sage. I bet you could modify it like they do to pipe tobacco and add flavors.
