Got these a few moths ago to replace my old Meindl Borneos that have served me for about more than 8 years. Not that the Meindles have died, the soles and front ends have just been worn thin.
Must admid that my new Hanwags fits me a lot better out of the bow that the Meindls did back then. But then again i have narrow feet and the new boots seem to fit more snugly around the middle which prevents my heel from slipping
