Last year I had a horrible problem with squirrels and rabbits. They ate almost every last one of my tomatoes and peppers and uprooted my beans. This year, to counter them, I had the thought of growing catnip in a container, having a small cathouse, and leaving some food to attract a cat or two. I hope that they would keep the pest problem to a minimum, but will I have issues with them shitting all over the garden or other unforeseen issues?
