I'd go wellies if it's that wet. Get polyurethane bekina and avoid hydrolysis or rubber gumleaf/la chameux.
I heard the toes often split on the shell boots and the Lundhags arent event rubber anymore but polyurethane anyways.
Call it Larp, but I'm not wearing a 5 lb shell boots unless it's wet and if I can, I'd rather get the socks/insoles to make a rubber wellie work instead of some pro hunter $400 once a season hunting clunker that will break down to hydrolysis in between years.
