Unrelated note, I put longeared sunfish in a local lake a while back, and I have only caught one since, until tonight. Just caught this little fellow about half an hour ago before calling it a night. I'm not sure they are full blood longears or hybrids, but they are so pretty that I wanted to get them out of the creek the were in to a new home. They just fucked the whole creek with construction, so I'm glad I did, and that they seem to be thriving.
