Easily the most underrated lure I have in my entire tacklebox that I have never seen anyone else use. My first lure of this type was found from me dragging up a snagged lure in the nearest river I fish at. I put it on (with new treble hooks) and the lure worked fantastically. The action is great and the ability to change depths is a great idea. I caught my first longnose gar the first day I used it. I can remember being scared to death of those rows of teeth. The fishes length was 39 inches and weighed about 17 lbs (I had to do the length x length x length / 3,500 to get the fishes weight). I hauled the fish up with 8 lb test with the line tangled around the fishes razor sharp teeth. This is why I have always trusted monofilament line it is just that great. Back to the lure though, there is no better casting lure that I trust more than a zip lure especially river fishing/in current.
