How's it going guys? Haven't seen any Redfin in the pond in a few weeks so I am somewhat concerned. There are a few bass so I hope they didn't manage to wipe them out... In any case, I haven't seen many pickerel in the places I caught all mine from anyway this year so maybe it's just a bad year for pickerel.
Went fishing today and thinned out the very healthy bluegill population. My redbreast and fliers seem to be doing OK. Gonna have to hit the crappie really hard this winter before they can spawn again. Still liquidating a decent number of stunted warmouth every time I go. I have started throwing game fish feed in the pond every other day or so.
