>>432087This thing was an experiment. What it's intended to be is a chest pack, for holding fly boxes and fly fishing stuff. It didn't really work out too well, though, because I made the zipper too short. The cool part of this project was the sides. I sewed some very thin closed-cell foam (from a Gossamer Gear 1/8" sleeping pad) in between two layers of silnylon, and the result was a kind of sturdy material that I could sew with. I used a single strip to make the sides and bottom.
