Oh well, it's still pretty delicious. I have about 3 other melons but I don't think they'll make it before the first frost. I saved the seeds for next year so hopefully I'll get a more bountiful harvest next time. I live in Southern Ontario so the sunnier times in spring usually take a while to get going, especially this year. Because of that I planted the melons a little bit late, for better luck next year should I start off the seedlings inside?
I have an old UV lamp I used for a bearded dragon I used to have, maybe I could raise them in the garage first and transfer them to the garden once things warm up.
