>>836868I am in a bit of a strange climate. South of Flagstaff in Arizona high country. It's currently monsoon here, and from what I know Boletus grow this time of year through September. I found quite a few puffballs and morels, but that's about where my knowledge starts and stops.
I do know Amanita Muscaria well enough to know it wasn't that. They are literally everywhere here. I could probably throw a rock and hit one.
