I have a steep forested hill (40-45 degree incline) with a small stream at the base, and some flat land
See pic related. It goes on for about 425 feet (so ~1.5 acres of flat tillable land)
I want a massive garden, but I also want an orchard with a variety of fruit trees (everything from apples to cherries to pawpaw)
My question is, do I plant the fruit trees in the flat land, or do you recommend I get the hill logged (can give me some money)?
>inb4 how long does the hill go on for
Forever. Over 500 feet (more like a mountain, really). Thats why I'm wondering if I should use that space for fruit trees instead
I have other space for growing, but for now I want to focus on this one section, thanks!
