Very fish fish are nibblers. Most strike hard and swallow things whole.
As for how to attach it to a hook. There are many ways. You can attach it to the hook when it is uncooked then cook everything together. You can poke the uncooked spaghetti into something that you can bait the hook with then cook it (pic related).
I recommend undercooking it so that it is bendable but won't deteriorate or break when casting/reeling in.
