DWC watermelon update: New leaves kept drying completely, so I've tried moving it outside the grow tent to the seed starting box. So far, new leaf growth is healthy and shows no signs of drying. If it continues to stay healthy outside the tent, I guess I'll have to make space under my desk for it and jerry-rig a mylar "tent" around it.
Since my grow tent is free now, I've transferred my Kratky Bahamian Goat pepper to a larger DWC container, running some irrigation tubing across the room for the air pump (1 tube for the watermelon and 1 for the pepper). Other peppers are staying in their small Kratky containers for now.
