>>845311>>845314I carry kelly foreceps and needle nose pliers, both 8" long. I never have trouble getting hooks loose, even trebles in small sunfish throats. I also don't screw up the fish with these.I grab the hook, push it further into the fish mouth and towards the front of the hook. That way the barb more easily clears the hole the hook made. You can't do that very well with your fingers half the time.
