Day one is pretty much done. I've got a solid pack, a decent tent and a plane ticket to Seattle for ~$260, plus 25 for my will be carry-on, leaving me just over a hundred dollars. I still have a few things to pick up but I'm going to really hold out on my spending now that I've got the necessities out of the way.
The tent is nice, decent length and good material, the tent is perfect but the rain tarp that comes with it has had some minor damage, but that's been repaired with very good waterproof tape so we'll see tomorrow when I set it up how it holds up.
The bag is good, very good size. I'll fill it tomorrow when I get home and see how it feels with a bunch of stuff in it. Still in new condition, good frame etc.
It's late tonight and I don't have a hole punch so I won't make the stoves, but I've got the empty catfood cans set aside

>>272816I've been keeping an eye and ear out all my life to figure out how successful homeless people are in simply asking for money. I won't need to do it hopefully, but if I do I'm confident in my ability to score a mcdouble.
